Reisdetails van Roadtrip Iran!
Omschrijving:
7 dagen geleden zijn we gestart aan onze roadtrip door Kurdistan. Zowel google als mede reizigers hebben ons enthousiast gemaakt over deze omgeving. Daarnaast zijn we na alle drukke steden wel toe aan een beetje relaxen in de natuur. We hadden dan ook een week de tijd om door kleine bergdorpjes te crossen met onze peugeot 206 en hier en daar een wandeling te maken.
Het huren van de auto was onverwachts makkelijk. Zo konden we via whatsapp een reservering maken en pikten we de auto een paar dagen later in tehran op. Wij huurden de auto bij saadatrent (www.saadatrent.com) en zijn blij met de keuze. Zo ligt de prijs een stuk lager dan bij bijvoorbeeld europcar en worden we super vriendelijk en snel te woord gestaan.
Tehran uitkomen werd daarentegen nog wel een uitdaging voor ons. Het verkeer is in vergelijking met Nederland een complete chaos, maar met zo'n chauffeur als Martin was dat geen probleem. Gelukkig rijdt is alles wat ik hoef te doen lekker naar buiten kijken. En dat is niet vervelend met zo'n omgeving als hier. Hoge rotsachtige bergen en af en toe heeft het wat weg van een super stijle savanne.
Onze eerste bestemming werd dulab, een plaatsje dat niet bestaat op Google Maps. Dit is een schattig trappendorpje waar geen enkele andere westerling te vinden is. Daarnaast verbleven we in een homestay waar we overspoeld werden met eten, theetjes en gezelligheid. Zo hadden we op onze eerste avond hadden het geluk dat er een populaire iraanse instagrammer aanwezig was die een traditioneel spel ging filmen. Voor dit filmpje werd het hele dorpje uitgerukt en zaten we tussen de lokale Koerden te gokken onder welke sok een muntje verstopt zat.
Vervolgens hebben we onze weg doorgezet naar Marivan waar we aankwamen in een overboekt hostel. Gelukkig hadden we onze auto en konden we gemakkelijk naar de andere kant van het meer tuffen om in een zogenaamde ecolodge te slapen. Een heel ranzige accommodatie waar we na 1 nacht hard zijn weggereden. Wel hadden ze door de ligging aan het meer de lekkerste vis die we ooit hebben gegeten.
Verder hebben we een bezoekje gemaakt aan ooruman, daryan en ten slotte gartawich oliya. Al deze dorpjes zijn lastig te bereiken en liggen diep in de bergen. De eigenaren van de homestays waren telkens super blij en enthousiast met onze komst. Het liefst lieten ze ons iedere steen van het dorp zien. Heel lief, ook andere inwoners begroetten je vrolijk met 'salam' en vroegen nieuwsgierig waar je vandaan komt.
Deze roadtrip was een echte highlight van onze reis door Iran en ik zou iedereen aanraden de standaard vervoersmiddelen zoals bus en trein een keer te laten voor wat het is en naar de minder toeristische plekjes te gaan met een auto.

Reisdetails van Roadtrip Iran!
Omschrijving:
7 dagen geleden zijn we gestart aan onze roadtrip door Kurdistan. Zowel google als mede reizigers hebben ons enthousiast gemaakt over deze omgeving. Daarnaast zijn we na alle drukke steden wel toe aan een beetje relaxen in de natuur. We hadden dan ook een week de tijd om door kleine bergdorpjes te crossen met onze peugeot 206 en hier en daar een wandeling te maken.
Het huren van de auto was onverwachts makkelijk. Zo konden we via whatsapp een reservering maken en pikten we de auto een paar dagen later in tehran op. Wij huurden de auto bij saadatrent (www.saadatrent.com) en zijn blij met de keuze. Zo ligt de prijs een stuk lager dan bij bijvoorbeeld europcar en worden we super vriendelijk en snel te woord gestaan.
Tehran uitkomen werd daarentegen nog wel een uitdaging voor ons. Het verkeer is in vergelijking met Nederland een complete chaos, maar met zo'n chauffeur als Martin was dat geen probleem. Gelukkig rijdt is alles wat ik hoef te doen lekker naar buiten kijken. En dat is niet vervelend met zo'n omgeving als hier. Hoge rotsachtige bergen en af en toe heeft het wat weg van een super stijle savanne.
Onze eerste bestemming werd dulab, een plaatsje dat niet bestaat op Google Maps. Dit is een schattig trappendorpje waar geen enkele andere westerling te vinden is. Daarnaast verbleven we in een homestay waar we overspoeld werden met eten, theetjes en gezelligheid. Zo hadden we op onze eerste avond hadden het geluk dat er een populaire iraanse instagrammer aanwezig was die een traditioneel spel ging filmen. Voor dit filmpje werd het hele dorpje uitgerukt en zaten we tussen de lokale Koerden te gokken onder welke sok een muntje verstopt zat.
Vervolgens hebben we onze weg doorgezet naar Marivan waar we aankwamen in een overboekt hostel. Gelukkig hadden we onze auto en konden we gemakkelijk naar de andere kant van het meer tuffen om in een zogenaamde ecolodge te slapen. Een heel ranzige accommodatie waar we na 1 nacht hard zijn weggereden. Wel hadden ze door de ligging aan het meer de lekkerste vis die we ooit hebben gegeten.
Verder hebben we een bezoekje gemaakt aan ooruman, daryan en ten slotte gartawich oliya. Al deze dorpjes zijn lastig te bereiken en liggen diep in de bergen. De eigenaren van de homestays waren telkens super blij en enthousiast met onze komst. Het liefst lieten ze ons iedere steen van het dorp zien. Heel lief, ook andere inwoners begroetten je vrolijk met 'salam' en vroegen nieuwsgierig waar je vandaan komt.
Deze roadtrip was een echte highlight van onze reis door Iran en ik zou iedereen aanraden de standaard vervoersmiddelen zoals bus en trein een keer te laten voor wat het is en naar de minder toeristische plekjes te gaan met een auto.

Reisdetails van Roadtrip Iran!
Omschrijving:
7 dagen geleden zijn we gestart aan onze roadtrip door Kurdistan. Zowel google als mede reizigers hebben ons enthousiast gemaakt over deze omgeving. Daarnaast zijn we na alle drukke steden wel toe aan een beetje relaxen in de natuur. We hadden dan ook een week de tijd om door kleine bergdorpjes te crossen met onze peugeot 206 en hier en daar een wandeling te maken.
Het huren van de auto was onverwachts makkelijk. Zo konden we via whatsapp een reservering maken en pikten we de auto een paar dagen later in tehran op. Wij huurden de auto bij saadatrent (www.saadatrent.com) en zijn blij met de keuze. Zo ligt de prijs een stuk lager dan bij bijvoorbeeld europcar en worden we super vriendelijk en snel te woord gestaan.
Tehran uitkomen werd daarentegen nog wel een uitdaging voor ons. Het verkeer is in vergelijking met Nederland een complete chaos, maar met zo'n chauffeur als Martin was dat geen probleem. Gelukkig rijdt is alles wat ik hoef te doen lekker naar buiten kijken. En dat is niet vervelend met zo'n omgeving als hier. Hoge rotsachtige bergen en af en toe heeft het wat weg van een super stijle savanne.
Onze eerste bestemming werd dulab, een plaatsje dat niet bestaat op Google Maps. Dit is een schattig trappendorpje waar geen enkele andere westerling te vinden is. Daarnaast verbleven we in een homestay waar we overspoeld werden met eten, theetjes en gezelligheid. Zo hadden we op onze eerste avond hadden het geluk dat er een populaire iraanse instagrammer aanwezig was die een traditioneel spel ging filmen. Voor dit filmpje werd het hele dorpje uitgerukt en zaten we tussen de lokale Koerden te gokken onder welke sok een muntje verstopt zat.
Vervolgens hebben we onze weg doorgezet naar Marivan waar we aankwamen in een overboekt hostel. Gelukkig hadden we onze auto en konden we gemakkelijk naar de andere kant van het meer tuffen om in een zogenaamde ecolodge te slapen. Een heel ranzige accommodatie waar we na 1 nacht hard zijn weggereden. Wel hadden ze door de ligging aan het meer de lekkerste vis die we ooit hebben gegeten.
Verder hebben we een bezoekje gemaakt aan ooruman, daryan en ten slotte gartawich oliya. Al deze dorpjes zijn lastig te bereiken en liggen diep in de bergen. De eigenaren van de homestays waren telkens super blij en enthousiast met onze komst. Het liefst lieten ze ons iedere steen van het dorp zien. Heel lief, ook andere inwoners begroetten je vrolijk met 'salam' en vroegen nieuwsgierig waar je vandaan komt.
Deze roadtrip was een echte highlight van onze reis door Iran en ik zou iedereen aanraden de standaard vervoersmiddelen zoals bus en trein een keer te laten voor wat het is en naar de minder toeristische plekjes te gaan met een auto.

Reisdetails van Roadtrip Iran!
Omschrijving:
7 dagen geleden zijn we gestart aan onze roadtrip door Kurdistan. Zowel google als mede reizigers hebben ons enthousiast gemaakt over deze omgeving. Daarnaast zijn we na alle drukke steden wel toe aan een beetje relaxen in de natuur. We hadden dan ook een week de tijd om door kleine bergdorpjes te crossen met onze peugeot 206 en hier en daar een wandeling te maken.
Het huren van de auto was onverwachts makkelijk. Zo konden we via whatsapp een reservering maken en pikten we de auto een paar dagen later in tehran op. Wij huurden de auto bij saadatrent (www.saadatrent.com) en zijn blij met de keuze. Zo ligt de prijs een stuk lager dan bij bijvoorbeeld europcar en worden we super vriendelijk en snel te woord gestaan.
Tehran uitkomen werd daarentegen nog wel een uitdaging voor ons. Het verkeer is in vergelijking met Nederland een complete chaos, maar met zo'n chauffeur als Martin was dat geen probleem. Gelukkig rijdt is alles wat ik hoef te doen lekker naar buiten kijken. En dat is niet vervelend met zo'n omgeving als hier. Hoge rotsachtige bergen en af en toe heeft het wat weg van een super stijle savanne.
Onze eerste bestemming werd dulab, een plaatsje dat niet bestaat op Google Maps. Dit is een schattig trappendorpje waar geen enkele andere westerling te vinden is. Daarnaast verbleven we in een homestay waar we overspoeld werden met eten, theetjes en gezelligheid. Zo hadden we op onze eerste avond hadden het geluk dat er een populaire iraanse instagrammer aanwezig was die een traditioneel spel ging filmen. Voor dit filmpje werd het hele dorpje uitgerukt en zaten we tussen de lokale Koerden te gokken onder welke sok een muntje verstopt zat.
Vervolgens hebben we onze weg doorgezet naar Marivan waar we aankwamen in een overboekt hostel. Gelukkig hadden we onze auto en konden we gemakkelijk naar de andere kant van het meer tuffen om in een zogenaamde ecolodge te slapen. Een heel ranzige accommodatie waar we na 1 nacht hard zijn weggereden. Wel hadden ze door de ligging aan het meer de lekkerste vis die we ooit hebben gegeten.
Verder hebben we een bezoekje gemaakt aan ooruman, daryan en ten slotte gartawich oliya. Al deze dorpjes zijn lastig te bereiken en liggen diep in de bergen. De eigenaren van de homestays waren telkens super blij en enthousiast met onze komst. Het liefst lieten ze ons iedere steen van het dorp zien. Heel lief, ook andere inwoners begroetten je vrolijk met 'salam' en vroegen nieuwsgierig waar je vandaan komt.
Deze roadtrip was een echte highlight van onze reis door Iran en ik zou iedereen aanraden de standaard vervoersmiddelen zoals bus en trein een keer te laten voor wat het is en naar de minder toeristische plekjes te gaan met een auto.

[description] => 7 dagen geleden zijn we gestart aan onze roadtrip door Kurdistan. Zowel google als mede reizigers hebben ons enthousiast gemaakt over deze omgeving. Daarnaast zijn we na alle drukke steden wel toe aan een beetje relaxen in de natuur. We hadden dan ook een week de tijd om door kleine bergdorpjes te crossen met onze peugeot 206 en hier en daar een wandeling te maken.
Het huren van de auto was onverwachts makkelijk. Zo konden we via whatsapp een reservering maken en pikten we de auto een paar dagen later in tehran op. Wij huurden de auto bij saadatrent (www.saadatrent.com) en zijn blij met de keuze. Zo ligt de prijs een stuk lager dan bij bijvoorbeeld europcar en worden we super vriendelijk en snel te woord gestaan.
Tehran uitkomen werd daarentegen nog wel een uitdaging voor ons. Het verkeer is in vergelijking met Nederland een complete chaos, maar met zo'n chauffeur als Martin was dat geen probleem. Gelukkig rijdt is alles wat ik hoef te doen lekker naar buiten kijken. En dat is niet vervelend met zo'n omgeving als hier. Hoge rotsachtige bergen en af en toe heeft het wat weg van een super stijle savanne.
Onze eerste bestemming werd dulab, een plaatsje dat niet bestaat op Google Maps. Dit is een schattig trappendorpje waar geen enkele andere westerling te vinden is. Daarnaast verbleven we in een homestay waar we overspoeld werden met eten, theetjes en gezelligheid. Zo hadden we op onze eerste avond hadden het geluk dat er een populaire iraanse instagrammer aanwezig was die een traditioneel spel ging filmen. Voor dit filmpje werd het hele dorpje uitgerukt en zaten we tussen de lokale Koerden te gokken onder welke sok een muntje verstopt zat.
Vervolgens hebben we onze weg doorgezet naar Marivan waar we aankwamen in een overboekt hostel. Gelukkig hadden we onze auto en konden we gemakkelijk naar de andere kant van het meer tuffen om in een zogenaamde ecolodge te slapen. Een heel ranzige accommodatie waar we na 1 nacht hard zijn weggereden. Wel hadden ze door de ligging aan het meer de lekkerste vis die we ooit hebben gegeten.
Verder hebben we een bezoekje gemaakt aan ooruman, daryan en ten slotte gartawich oliya. Al deze dorpjes zijn lastig te bereiken en liggen diep in de bergen. De eigenaren van de homestays waren telkens super blij en enthousiast met onze komst. Het liefst lieten ze ons iedere steen van het dorp zien. Heel lief, ook andere inwoners begroetten je vrolijk met 'salam' en vroegen nieuwsgierig waar je vandaan komt.
Deze roadtrip was een echte highlight van onze reis door Iran en ik zou iedereen aanraden de standaard vervoersmiddelen zoals bus en trein een keer te laten voor wat het is en naar de minder toeristische plekjes te gaan met een auto.
